As a senior in high school, I was incredibly grateful to participate in the 2023 KYW Newstudies program, an opportunity ran by Philadelphia's 103.9FM KYW Newsradio.
The program allows high school students that are passionate about radio and broadcasting to learn about the inner workings of the industry. I was able to work alongside fellow students pursuing their own careers, and hear from insightful panels of industry professionals explaining their day-to-day jobs and experiences. While in the program, my project was supervised by award-winning journalist Hadas Kuznits.
